• Comments: Alright so clearly I have a thing for NOIR amvs. I just can’t help myself. They’re sooo much fun to make and there are sooo many ideas popping around. Noir offers some gorgeous scenery and is simply one of the most beautiful and unique animes around, I can’t get enough of it. Not to mention the characters and their complexities- good stuff. As some may notice, I’m very fond of Chloe. She’s my favorite anime girl of all time and I don’t think I’ll ever be done with her in AMVs. I always told myself no more Chloe videos after Placebo (it took so much work I just don’t think I’ll ever outdo it) but I always get sucked back in. Ah well.
  
  This was kind of different because I used a song that normally isn’t my kind of thing, but I couldn’t resist. The instant I heard it I kept thinking of the Kirika and Chloe sword fight, so hey- it had to happen. I’m pretty pleased with it. It didn’t give me many problems, it was really a pleasure to edit.
  
  Anyway maybe some people won’t like the concept. It goes a little yuri (cause well, the anime does) so to people who aren’t into all that- don’t watch. I could go on and on with how I feel about Chloe and Kirika and their relationship. I think it’s a lot of things. It’s pretty complicated (hey, it’s why I made the video) and tragic. I’m not saying that I necessarily support them as a couple (those of you who have seen Hey Jupiter know this...muahaha..) But it just can’t be reduced to labeling them as a “couple”. It’s noir. It’s love. It’s hatred. It’s death. (See? Told you I could go on.) Their relationship is fascinating nonetheless and means everything the plot.
