  So life keeps you busy. This video was supposed to be done in the fall of last year. I had gone through all the guides and it took me a month to figure that all out.
  
  De-interlace this. 29.97 fps second that.
  
  Quite headache inducing. I trudged through and finally felt like I had a grasp on everything. I had my files all ready to go and to start editing. Then I get a virus that effectively shuts down my computer for months.
  
  ALL. WORK. GONE. *Sigh*
  
  So back to the drawing board and back to Windows Movie Maker.
  
  This video took me about 25 hours to make. About 10 of them just burning, ripping, etc to get my footage. The other 15 was pure editing. One of the things that people had to say I could improve on from my previous effort, "What really happened...", was my pacing. My video was timed well, my scene selection was suspect.
  
  So I decided to try and remedy that problem. My wife and I are 2 HUGE Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans. I have had it in my mind to do an AMV to this theme for a while and even though it is the most used Anime on here, Eva seemed to fit.
  
  So then my goal had to be to make the video unlike ANY Eva video out there, like I did with "What really happened..." (with mixed results). So I decided to go out and make the video as close to the actual opening of the show as well as do it to the longer version of the song, instead of the quick 30-second TV version.
  
  I think I did a good job. It won't exactly be top 10 material on this site (as the WMV format all by itself would suggest), I am happy with it though.
  
  This video is for those who would like an introduction to the characters of Eva, want to revisit the characters that they love from the show AND for any fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I have entered this into Anime Detour, which is coming up at the end of March. I'll update this site with any news from there.
