  Alrighty...to spare everyone confusion (as the responses from viewers have indicated, most likely because they didn't read any of this ramble) let me just sum up this AMV the best way I can:
  
  
  ---Yes, this AMV is about 2 characters from completely different animes, but it is really just supposed to emphasize a little story that just sort of formed in front of my (and my friend's) eyes- 2 characters who share some kind of common experience, emotion, or fear, even in different dimensions. So...what would happen if they met? That's really all there is to it. k?---
  
  
  Alright, onto the loooooong description (which I apologize in advance for, thanks to all who take the time to read)-
  
  I'm very very unsure of this one.
  
  I don't know how common this type of thing is, so don't hate me for it. I know a lot of people smush non-existant couples together....but I don't know how often that happens with characters in completely different animes. Sounds weird, maybe. But, okay, here's the story of Gaara and Chloe.
  
  My friend (who is 1/2 of the Gaara and Chloe creation thingy) was going through her Naruto thing big time. I was into NOIR. Big time. Neither of us (at the time) had seen the other one's anime, but we babbled about it a lot. Her favorite character at the time was Gaara, and mine was Chloe. We babbled and babbled until we realized- Hey...these two actually have a lot in common! Once we saw the AMVS we had made for each character, we really saw the similarities. And yea, there are some obvious differences (Chloe's really rather sweet and "innocent" compared to Gaara and a little bit of a lesbian) But...somehow we still felt that there was a connection between the two. Something I don't know anyone will get, but I tried my best with this video.
  
  Something in our lives actually really reflected Gaara and Chloe quite well.
  
  Her favorite musician is Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, and mine is Tori Amos. Now, she always knew that Gaara's personality is VERY Nine Inch Nails-ish (very dark, pretty damn screwed up, just lots of fun) and well...Chloe is actually quite the image of Tori Amos' music too. A bit strange, deep, at times dark, very...unique, like Chloe. (I know how crazy this all might sound. Really I do.)
  
  So over time, my friend and I started connecting Gaara and Chloe through Trent and Tori, it's like we wrote out own fanfic stories together through the music (kind of cool right?).
  
  So anyway...I'm going to list a few things to make it simpler.
  
  Similarities between Gaara and Chloe
  
  -Essentially loners
  -Killing since childhood
  -Represent the darker path that the main character (Naruto, Kirika) could have taken.
  -Corrupted as children
  -Feared. Greatly feared to all who know of them.
  -(In my opinion) Character designs are both quite different from your average pretty anime character.
  
  And the crazier you get, the more the list goes on, but 'll leave it at that for you sane people.
  
  So anyway. I made this AMV for them. It's quite simple, but I wanted to incorporate so much in it (including the Tori/Trent connection) and I really just made it for the enjoyment of my friend and myself...but I thought, hey, why not give it a chance and share it with all you AMV people? No, I didn't go all flashy and effecty, but I'm still proud. Not everyone likes simple videos, but I for one think it's good sometimes to keep things clean and stick to the story I'm trying to tell :D
  
  I would also like to make this perfectly clear.....
  
  I mean NO offense to any fans of Chloe X Kirika, Gaara X Hinata, OR Chloe and Gaara remaining completely alone and never being romantically linked to anyone. I TOHHH-TALLY get that, so PLEASE don't start screaming at me about how it doesn't make sense. I respect everyone's own views on the characters.
