Our own actions will determine our success or failure. Usually those that fall down but always get back up to try again are motivated by things like reaching a certain goal. For example, Naruto makes a promise to Sakura that he will bring back Sasuke even if it means taking him by force. In the end, he fails to do just that but doesn't quit there.
