  • Profile: Konnichiwa! I am one of those blubbering fangirl-type geeks whose total value to society isn't much, but aren't we just a blast to have around??? *^_^x*

    Anyway, this is a profile page about me, so I guess I should get on with the show! My name is Suzann (----------), but I more commonly run loose under the name Catalina Storm ... I prefer Catie, thanks, and no, don't pronounce "Caty" as "catty" or risk the wrath of a fangirl with a sharp weapon and lousy sense of humor! I'm 19, in college and I don't have near as much free time as I think I do. Hence, fanfiction, fan art and AMVs all tend to collide in at once, and I go in spurts.

    I am the vice president of AnimEKU, Eastern Kentucky Universty's premiere anime club (come visit usssss!!!), and as such I have seen a lot of anime. Well, something like that. However, my favorites are still pretty well known ... The Vision of Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin, Twin Signal, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, Gundam Wing ... et cetera. Gratutious violence and bishies ... lottttts of bishies!!!

    Also, I often sound more hyper online than I really am ... although I do have my days. (Ask my friends...) I've completed eleven or twelve AMVs as of right now ... more on the way. Mine aren't anything spectacular ... at best I'm telling a story, at worse, well, lots of gratitous bishie shots set to music. I'm not that versed in the technical aspects of doing this ... I just like to make AMVs, and as long as I'm happy with the finished product I don't care what anyone else thinks.

    My current project is a series of Rurouni Kenshin videos (stop groaning. You, in the back, you think I don't see that?) that focus on specific characters ... right now I'm in the middle of Sanosuke's video, with Soujiro, Yahiko and Misao all waiting in line for their own. I really like this idea and will probably be working on these videos for some time, not to mention my "list of AMVs to make eventually", which as of yesterday had about forty ideas on it.
