The song isn't told from anyone's point of view, but in this video in particular, the song's told from Trixie's point of view. She tells Speed that whereever he goes, no matter what he does, she'll always be right behind him. There is also an electric version of this song, but the acoustic version was the version that was released as a single that went to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in 1993.
