GONNA BE DOWN UNTIL I CAN GET A NEW HOST.....SORRY......
Anime: Gundam Wing
Music: Three Doors Down - Kryptonite
Programs:
---Capture - WinTV Cap
---Video Editing - Microsoft Windows Movie Maker
---Image Editing - Windows Paint
My first anime music video! I actually did this quite some time ago. I can't really remember how long it took to do, but if I had to guess, I'd say probably 3 days or so. I used WinTVCap and Windows Movie Maker to put it together.
There is one little problem. It has these nasty little Cartoon Network logos watermarked in the lower right corner. All I had to use at the time were my tapes of the uncut Toonami run. I am currently working on redoing this one with my DVDs and more advanced edit software. Unfortunately, I need all 10 DVDs and not all of them are currently available. The last DVD isn't scheduled to roll out until about mid-September, so the revision won't be out for a bit.
The video is pretty much a look at Heero Yuy. Beginning to end, it's all about the pilot I have dubbed 'Superman'. It has major spoilers for the end of the series, so be sure you're either seen it or don't mind knowing.

There were two changes I made to the new version from the original. First, an entire sequence in the middle has been totally redone. There's a fairly long instrumental part that previously had footage from 'The Glass Kingdom' episode. I took that out and redid it with some Wing ZERO clips from slightly earlier in the series. I think it keeps pace with the music better now than before.
I also rearranged the end....just the last few seconds. I had a few clips of Heero that I strung together before that showed him from different angles. I still have that, but the clips have been put in a different order and one was changed out. I also added the videos lone digital effect. As the music and video fade out, there is a zoom into Heero's eye. This was my original vision for the ending, but I was limited by software capabilities the first time around.
I hope you enjoy the video. I had quite a bit of fun making it. There were times when I would just sit back and jam along with the music on loop so I could form ideas of what I wanted to do. If it's half as much fun for you to watch the finished product, then I would be content. Please do leave an opinion, good or bad....just no flames. I want helpful, constructive criticisms. Tell me where I need to improve and what you think I do well already.
Thanks for watching!
