  • Comments: It's my first AMV. The idea came up to my mind when I was humming Clint Mansell's "Lux Aetherna" in my dad's car ;)
    I knew it from "LOTR: The Two Towers" trailer and I thought it would be really great to see an Mai HiME trailer with this music (I didn't know that this track is often used in such videos).

    So I started to think about it a lot, making screenplay, choosing scenes etc. Soon I realized that the content I want to present is too much for this one song (I mean, small part of it, additionaly edited by me).
    So I decided to make something different than common short trailer - a long one :D I rewrote my screenplay and started audio research. I chose few songs for almost all parts of my vid, except the beginning - I couldn't find anything good, so I had to write my own track.
    I used scraps from "The Passion of The Christ" OST, Juno Reactor's "Navras" and my own drum samples to create short drum tune.

    After 2 weeks of editing, I finished my first AMV and showed it to the humanity :)

    This clip has a lot of technical blunders: video quality, resolution, desynchronized speech samples, long intro and outro etc.
    But you know... I was totally AMV newbie then (to tell the truth, I still feel like this) :)

    IMPORTANT: Better do not watch this AMV unless you've seen Mai HiME or you're not planning to watch it (spoilers).
