My 5th AMV uses the anime 'Naru Taru' (Shadow Star) and the song 'Your the one that I want' from Grease. As the some gets a bit tedious towards the ends with everyone singing 'your the one that I want, oow, oow, oow, oow honey' three times , then adding 'I wanna be, oh yes in deed, yes in deed' and repeating this over and over I cut this short. In the orginal song they sing these 4 lines 3 times, however I felt once was enough. This cut shorted the song by about 20 seconds.
I focused on the relationship between Kazuyuki and Satomi, as theirs has the most chance of being romantic. The lip-syn especially Kazuyuki's took ages .
