    - If you could, opinions would be hugely appreciated.

    Anime Overview:
Welcome to the world of Naruto. A world filled with ultra cool ninjas who use chakra (like spiritual energy I guess) to perform techniques. Although I feel about 60% of Naruto is filled with the most useless scenes (usually these days to keep it behind the manga), the rest is absolute gold. The storylines are fantastic and occasionally the animation gets beautiful.

This is an AMV based on the two male protagonists/heroes of the Naruto series (Naruto and Sasuke). Their friendship and rivalry is immense, an intrinsic part of the plot and the main driving force behind the storylines of the 1st Arc.

    Themes:
*** - Brief History: When I first began this video, it had a very different theme. Originally it was to be an epic video chronicling the entire story of Naruto and Sasuke concluding with the end of Arc1 of the Naruto Series. The video was set to be at least 10 minutes long involving a compilation of music and interlinked scenes. The project got underway around 30/12/04 and various scenes were completed, though in the end I had to accept that due to the complexities of the project and relatively simplicity of Windows Movie Maker 2.0 (WMM2), it was never going to be the special video I had intended it to be. ***

Instead I set my heart on the second scene from the original video, which was one of the only scenes I felt to have worked. It used the music “One of a Kind” by the band, Breaking Point and upon further investigation I felt that this song alone could accomplish a fair deal.

The theme continued to focus on Naruto and Sasuke, as both friends and fighters, though the nature of the song was screaming at me for a pure action video.
In the end, as was inevitable, the video was set as an action video with the friendship theme set in the background until the last minute and a half or so of the video. (If you carefully dissect the last 30 seconds or so, you will find the cunningly hidden images of Naruto and Sasuke as the friends that they truly were.)

*** - Summary of themes: Action video focusing on Sasuke and Naruto’s relationship with each other and desire to surpass one another. ***

One of a Kind Lyrics (By Breaking Point):

I've got that feeling deep inside
Well what it is I don't know
    My vengeance starts to change
My mind gets filled with rage
I raise my fists up to the sky

    Whatdaya see?

The fear I see when I look in your eyes
Makes you believe I'm one of a kind (one of a kind)
The fear I leave in the back of your mind
    Makes you believe I'm
    One of a kind

Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind

And Now I feel like I'm alive
Don't know just how I got so low
    These voices in my mind
    Tell me it's killing time
    It is a thrill I can't describe

    Whatdaya see?

The fear I see when I look in your eyes
Makes you believe I'm one of a kind (one of a kind)
The fear I leave in the back of your mind
    Makes you believe I'm
    One of a kind

Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind

The fear I see when I look in your eyes
Makes you believe, makes you believe
The fear that I see in the back of your mind
Makes you believe, makes you believe

The fear I see when I look in your eyes
Makes you believe I'm one of a kind (one of a kind)
The fear I leave in the back of your mind
Makes you believe, makes you believe

The fear I see when I look in your eyes
Makes you believe I'm one of a kind (one of a kind)
The fear I leave in the back of your mind
Makes you believe I'm one of a kind

Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind
Hey, Hey, Hey, One of a Kind

    Programs Used:
    Windows Movie Maker 2.0 (WMM2)

    Problems:
Naturally using WWM2, I had problems. Constantly the program crashed. Consequently to reduce the crashes, I cut up the video into sections, which also reduced saving time for previews. A cunning manoeuvre you might say! But no. NO! It was not. Due to the absolute hardcore-ness of the video, I came to discover that when I stuck it all back together for a full viewing of the video… IT WOULD NOT SAVE!!! Surprise surprise WMM2 has come through for me again *NOT*. It turned out I had exceeded all possible limits that WMM2 could handle. I had thousands of clips, almost all with multiple effects, no wonder it wouldn’t save.

So I massacred my video once more, chopping it into two and saving them as DV-AVI files to retain as much quality as possible. It was then possible to stick the two complete halves back together again and save them as a whole. (Even if it means the video has been reduced in quality significantly since the original.)

    COMMENTS:
I hope you all enjoy the video! (And don’t forget to leave me an opinion :P)
