This is my first completed AMV and it only took me...(hmmm...started in Mid-January)...four months to complete, not because it was a complex video but because I was preoccupied with school and other things. Hopefully my next project won't take as long to complete. ^L^;
The idea for this video came while I was watching "Saving Private Ryan" with my roommate. The song was playing on the gramophone in the French town square; it's about a woman whose lover left her but she still has feelings for him. The title "Tu es Partout" translates to "You are everywhere". For some reason at that moment, I thought of Mireille and her undeveloped past in regards to relationships. So I decided to explore that using clips from Noir.
Originally, I had planned to do the whole video in grayscale but decided instead to use the following coloring scheme:
grayscale = past
sepia tone = dream
regular color = present
French and English lyrics can be found at these links:

I used Windows Movie Maker 2.1 and Adobe Photoshop 7 (for studio logo) in making this AMV.
The only "sort of" lip sync attempts were at 0'22", 0'47", 0'50", and 1'37".
Please leave an opinion after viewing so I can improve on my methods and perhaps make better AMVs after having gained valuable knowledge and experience.
