  • Comments: Well, I'm not entirely sure if I like this AMV, but I decided to upload it anyways because it's not like anyone will actually watch it. My four Kasho no Tsuki AMVs --COMBINED-- have less downloads than my one Kizuna AMV. To add insult to injury, one of the four was my first AMV and it was up for nearly a year before the Kizuna one. Secondly, the fourth one is currently in a contest and has made it all the way past the pre-eliminations to the fourth round! @_@ Reeeally makes one's effort seem worthwhile, doesn't it? . . . Joking, I don't really care. I love Kasho no Tsuki with a passion, and the world deserves more AMVs to it, and the world is going to get them whether it likes it or not! Mwahahaaa! XD

    Anyways, this AMV was very experimental in the fact that it's chocked full of overbearing effects (and the fact that I'm even capable of making/using overbearing effects makes me happy ^_^) and I played around a lot with utilizing some transitions besides fades and flashes. I avoided any cheesy ones, my philosophy is that if the shape of the transition remains square/rectangular like the screen it's okay. I am, in most cases, opposed to weird shapes in transitions or weird zig-zagged things. . .

    Moving on, this song was sooooooooooooooo hard to time to! 0_0 I am never using punk/metal/whatever this is again! This song sounds so weird! It probably sounds like I poorly edited the sound a lot in the middle, but I assure you that's just how the song is. I did the best with my skills, but I'm sure that I failed in some respects. I love the song, don't get my wrong (teehee, I rhymed) and I did good in deviating from my comfort zone, but I think that I'm fond of my comfort zone and want to get back to it (*glomps sappy female vocalists*).

    Another reason in making this AMV was that I love Kasho no Tsuki, but my other AMVs for it have kind of been the same. They just follow the plot line right along for the most part (granted there's not a whole lot of footage, but still I could have been more creative) so this one deviates from that. I realize, looking back, that there were probably some better clips that I could have used to make a stronger beginning, but I am too lazy to change it. . . .

    This originally was going to be a Kohryuu x Kagetsu AMV, but the Arimasa fangirl within me quickly protested and that idea was abandoned. That's why the beginning isn't set up for any particular pairing, by the way, because I was at first conserving the K x K footage. ^^;;

    To all 20-ish people who watch this, I thank you, and Kasho no Tsuki ROCKS!
