  This is my 2nd attemp to make an AMV. When I heard Forgotten from Avril Lavigne I thought it suited Asuka's profile since I wanted to make an AMV showing her true-self. The song is average, I don't like it too much neither I despite it.
  
  To follow the pace of the song I used a lot of fadings. Sync was an important issue here. The AMV begins with dramatic scenes, follows some action, back to drama and then action again.
  
  The plot is simple. She has her pride because she wants to be noticed, as her mother didn't give her attention and played with the doll she thought was her daughter. Then... mental collapsed, she commits suicide. She was left alone, she's angry with Shinji, she tries to runaway from the solitude and emptyness that grows inside of her. She becomes messed up for not being able to "surpass the invincible shinji", the one who hates (and loves), until her mother's soul inside eva-02 aids her and she finally opens her heart. She fights with glory, and for me, the best character in Eva.
