I wanted to take PG-13 footage, and make an R-rated video, and I think I did that. The music just really screamed Utena Movie to me, and the video didn't take to long to make. I had some fun overlays and things I was doing, but for the most part the video is simple. Letting the smut of Utena just carry the video. I don't know if this video will ever do to well, other then males drooling over the eye candy. I just really liked the piece of music. Had a free weekend, and threw it together.
...To my surprise this video has done well. It won an Honorable mention at AnimeNorth '05, and made the Finals of Anime Expo '05. Why is it my simpler videos do better then ones I put far to much effort into?
