This is the first AMV I've done in the better part of a year. So, this is for all one of my fans (she knows who she is)
Firefly was a show I managed to watch in the summer of 2004 and I fell in love with it immediatly. The works of Leiji Matsumoto (Space Battleship Yamato in particular) were one of the contributing factors for my intense love of anime. I felt that the Firefly theme song fitted with the ideas that are approached in Captain Herlock (freedom in space, living your own way, etc) made for a great fusion of Science Fiction- American and Japanese.
On a sidenote, this is the second AMV I've ever done to a theme tune of a Joss Whedon show, the first being the incredibly infamous 'Miko the Vampire Slayer' AMV. I very much doubt I'll be doing one set to 'Angel.'
