Comments:
Well, I had made up my mind not to do any more Evangelion videos due to the sheer number of them out there, but this idea came to me and I knew I had to do it, and I'm glad I did. I think it turned out really well. I personally think this is my best video I've created to date.
For those of you that don't know, transcendent means to exceed normal limits (thanks Webster =) ). I wanted to get across the point that Asuka fell under this catagory of exceeding what the normal 14 year old would be expected to do. Hence, she (and her Eva) are transcendi. The whole video focuses on her struggles, pains, and the occasional victory.
Info on the song: I don't really know a whole lot about the band 303 Infinity besides the fact that most of the songs by them I've heard are pretty cool. This particular song, Trancending Reality, is a somewhat repetetive song, making some parts of the video hard to make =) but it's a very neat song.
As for actually creating the video, programs I used were: DVDDecrypter, DVD2AVI, VirtualDubMod, Adobe Premiere Pro, and TMPGEnc. It took me about 3 weeks to make, some days I worked on it for hours, others just a few minutes. I actually have a bad habit of working on different parts of the video at different times. For example, the end of the video is actually the first part I worked on. It makes it easier to pinpoint parts I want to work on though.
Please leave me some comments to let me know what you think!
UPDATE: Sorry, but there will no longer be an option to download this video. I was requested by 303 Infinity to remove the video from the internet, so that's what I did. For those of you who did get to see the video, hope you enjoyed it, and for those of you who didn't, I've made better videos anyway so be sure to check those out ^_^
