I started this video as an iron chef a few weeks back vs a fellow studio member, SnhKnives. We then uploaded them to our site and allowed people to vote to determine the winner. I made a bet with him that if I won I would complete the vid. Well I didn't win, but rather, we tied. So I decided I would finish the project anyways because at the time it seemed right. Well 2 months and much procrastination later it's completed.
I no longer like this video and was never actually planning on finishing it (I halted it's production about 1/3 of the way through), but Lee (Knives) convinced me to complete it just so I finally have a vid out there to represent myself in the studio. :P I don't believe this justly portrays my editing abilities now (which are shown more in what I did with the entro, which I now to beleive is the only part of the vid I actually like anymore) But hey, everyone has to start somewhere, atleast that's the devious line Knives used to convince me to complete it.
Anyway, I believe I just don't like the editting technique I used in this vid (ie. too many flashes, I could have done much cooler stuff to emphasize those beats). Even though I restarted the vid being a much better and more competent editor I opted to finish it using the same editing technique as to not alter the flow of the video.
Also, as a side note, if you're looking for some deep meaning or plot here, you've come to the wrong place. This vid and the song have no correlation whatsoever. It was started with a random song and anime selected by a friend to try to help teach him Premier as well as for me and Knives to have some fun.
Well, with that said I hope you enjoy the video and look forward to some of my future releases, like my upcoming segement in the Reflections Project that I'm sure you will thuroughly enjoy. Later.
