And it's my first ever entry into any AMV contest.

I made this one pretty much intuitively. I got my copy of FF9 around the time U2's latest album was released. I liked the music so much that I decided to use one song from their 'All That You Can't Leave Behind' album to make a FF9 video. After selecting a few possible candidates I heard the line 'you shoot me from a gun' on the 'Elevation' track and immediately the scene of the Bomb being shot out of a cannon click into my head. So I decided that sometimes Opportunity knocks on the smallest windows and tried to build a video out of it.

One problem I have with the song is that it uses the word 'excavation' several times and there is hardly a scene in FF9 that would allude to that so I just put in some 'filler' scenes at those points in the song.

Note: This version is a newer one with several very minor changes compared to the one I had entered at Katsucon. But the video is virtually identical to the earlier one.
