Comments:
OK, so, I'm bad at giving speeches, and it just didn't seem professional to jump from random AMVs to the actual contest without some sense of separation, so I figured I should climb out of my editing slump, put After Effects back in my startup folder, and throw together a little something something to open the contest with. The giant video wall features a still taken from each of the AMVs that made the final contest, so I can't continue without thanking a few people/studios...

OK, that's out of the way...
The video was done in 3 days, at work and it took a day and a half to render. The giant wall is 5040x2700 and AE had to render motion blur, deapth of field, film damage, and a plethora of fancy lighting effects, though surprisingly no lens flares. Hope you all enjoy this little tribute to an amazing contest!
