So truth be told, I haven't had the best two weeks of my life. But with struggle, you always find someone or something that becomes the anchor that helps keep you sane in the crazy world that tries to throw you off. This video is dedicated to a good friend of mine who has managed to cheer me up throughout some of my darkest moments, whose birthday also happens to be today, so yeah...two birds with one stone? :D But in all seriousness, thank you so much. Even though you live far away now, you still manage to help me deal with my issues, and I hope to be able to return at least some of the kindness that you always have to give me. Since you like otome games as much as I do, I hope you like this montage of Voltage boys. Haha. Love you so much!
So about this video, I got the idea when I was playing one of Voltage Inc. otome games (don't judge me, we all do it at some point). And I've realized that many people have done music videos by making a montage of the pictures that are released in the game as you play the stories. Personally, I couldn't enjoy those as much because it's a really slow processing format for a music video. But then some of the newer games that Voltage has been making included these promotion videos. So I thought, "Hey, why not make an AMV using these PVs?" It's a lot more animated than the pictures and will be much more interesting to watch than simple pictures. So I got busy and started to make this AMV. It is much shorter than my normal AMVs and I had to do some experimenting in cutting and shortening music due to lack of footage, and adding in my own text to make it look like part of the PVs themselves. But nonetheless, it came out pretty good and I am quite proud of it. Since I think I am one of the first people to start making AMVs using Voltage PVs, I was also hesitant on entering that info into the Org because that would mean having to enter all the game titles in, which as you can see, is a lot. But I sucked it up and did it. Hopefully that will help future AMV editors to want to enter their own Voltage AMVs now that the titles are in the system (assuming the titles won't get rejected...).
As well as dedicating this video to my best friend and fellow otome otaku, this is also for all the single ladies out there. Because if you're like me, and have never had a boyfriend or known romance ever, then don't lose hope! You're going to find your person soon! Until then, just keep working to make yourself a better person. Anyway hope you guys like it and enjoy. As always, I appreciate the opinions and comments!
Sidenote: If you guys are curious about the text in the video -- those are not lyrics to the song. Since the footage source are promotional videos to these otome games, it came with the words, so I could not for the life of me figure out how to remove them. So I decided to arrange them in a way that told the story of probably what single girls who long for a boyfriend think.
