• Comments: Well, if "All about the Anime, baby" was lip synch overload, this new video is Overlay overload.
  There is one quick bit of lipsyching, just because it seemed to make sense, but the
  point of the video is to overlay as many images together while having it still look like they
  belong together. So people who liked in "All about the Anime, baby" when Lain hit control-
  alt-del on Serina playing the Sailor V game, you'll like some of the compositions in this video.
  
  There are two different Sorenson QT versions of this video, one that's quick to download and the
  other that's bigger but of higher image quality. (As opposed to AVI which would be bigger and
  lower image quality.)
  
  The song is the first Opening Theme from "The Knight Hunters" (Weiss Kreuz). I believe the theme
  is performed by the band Weiss Kreuz which is made up of the four principle voice actors from the
  show. The overlayed vocal copy was stolen from the TNN networks attempt to do a competent
  promo for CSI: second season and failing miserably. I mean, the first half of the promo could
  apply to Sailor Moon for crying out loud! (Although SM does't have much of a body count).
  
  Oddly enough the effect that took the longest and caused the most heart ache was the effect of
  overlaying Yoshi alone in bed over Yoshi with other people in bed. The reason it took so long is
  that Adobe (baka) Premiere's filter "reverse" doesn't work at all and forced me to chop the clip
  up into individual frames and reversing them myself.
  
  Adding to the misery is that my Pinnacle card is no long supported by Pinnacle (remember these
  two companies and DON'T buy anything from them) and I lost my ability to output VHS when
  I went to Mac OS 9.1.
  
  Hopefully soon I can upgrade to a firewire/DV box and Final Cut Pro.
