- High School Musical Can I Have This Dance
So I have loved this anime since I first watched it like maybe 5-6 years ago, but when I started to make AMVs, I realized that this song seriously goes well with this anime. Admittedly, I worked on this and finished in a pretty short amount of time, but I spent a few weeks after looking at other AMVs, seeing other people's tips and comments for those videos, because let's be honest, I don't think a lot of people are going to find my super new profile to give this newbie editor some improvement advice. So I spent a lot of time after finalizing the sequence of the video, trying to clean it up as much as I can, but with the cheap video editing software that I have to work with, I was pretty limited to how much I could fix. Regardless, I am pretty happy with the final product, so I hope you guys enjoy this video just as much. Thanks for watching as always, and if you have time, please don't hesitate to give me opinions and advice for improvement - I would very much appreciate that. See you in my next video!
Concept: Using the song as the main concept, I tried to focus on how Otonashi and Kanade developed their relationship over time. At first, it started as them being wary of one another but also somewhat intrigued by each other as well. As time progressed, they started to get to know each other and come to like one another as friends. Then soon, friendship turned into love, with both of them willing to protect each other to the end. While they are still haunted by memories of their past lives, their loneliness, and their inner demons, both of them still know that they have each other for support and guidance through the pain that tortures them. And then sadly, their time together ends as both of them accept their regrets and their past lives, and move on, disappearing from their world forever. But in their reborn lives, they get a chance to meet each other once again...Will they live happily ever after? That question remains unanswered, but ambiguity is what makes life so beautiful, isn't it?
