It has been a goal of mine for a while to make a fun video with one of the late Prince's more recent songs,
Funknroll, and after his passing I decided I needed to go ahead a make this thing as tribute to him and what he meant as a musician.
Theres at least two versions of this song and I found a way to combine them, while mostly using the funk part.
The song is a funky rock out jam with Prince reminding us once again to just cut loose and have fun and this is how I want to remember him. I could go on about how Prince inspired me in almost every way but I'll let the video speak for that. Also, the title is a play on both Stop, Drop & Roll and Rock n Roll while the music itself is a mix of funk and rock n roll.
