I discovered spoken word poetry through Dan Smith from Listener and Neil Hilborn, and since then I've been really into it. Here I combine some of my favorite material from both with some of my favorite anime.
The video with Neil in it was downloaded off of YouTube. I searched for a higher quality version with better audio, but there was nothing, so I waited for Neil's "Northbound" album to be released (I'd seen the track listing beforehand, felt lucky it was so conveniently being released while I was working, and listened to the whole thing through as soon as it was released a few minutes before midnight).
Edited this in two days with Vegas and After Effects, plus a bit out of another day to synch and mix the audio after "Northbound" was released.
