  Started this video back in May, the night the Rebuild of Evangelion 3.33 was released to Blu-ray. Since Evangelion is practically a bible to me in the anime world, I was naturally all over that movie. I watched it then immediately began encoding while I looked for a song. I found Ólafur Arnalds' "3704/3837" off of his album "Eulogy for Evolution". I always loved the way the track completely explodes in a burst of energy, I knew I wanted to edit it, but with what? Since I really wanted to do a celebratory edit for the release of 3.33 on bluray, I gathered it was time to edit that song.
  
  The slower parts took me one night to edit, the action bit took me about four months to complete. When I first tackled the action I was stumped as to what I wanted and what scenes I'd use. I dropped and almost completely forgot about this project a week after I started. Every once in a while I'd comeback to this video and rework it a little but I could never set aside the time to finish it, I was either too busy working or just wanting to do something else lol. I am glad that I did not drop this video in the end. It has become one of my personal favorites and it was definitely worth keeping around and not giving up.
