Hey everybody! =D
Oh My GOSH I had a lot of fun putting this one together!
This is my 19th original AMV! [And I LOVE the number 19! =D]
* One-Up From The Usual! *
This is the first Racing anime I've ever seen that I thought to put together an AMV for! When I saw the Initial D Series (Stages 1 through 4 and the Extra Stages and "m.o.v.e." music videos!) back in 2010-- I finally understood what the hype was about this anime at The Albany [Georgia -- not New York! XD] Mall around some friends of mine who I used to play video games like Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Soul Calibur around and with. I recall all of the "true mechanics" and "music artist" talk about this anime.
* Understanding The Hype From My Teenage Years! *
One thing I WILL say about this anime, is since it already has uptempo dance music and rock tunes during the racing scenes [for the English version especially! I haven't ever viewed the first stage through in Japanese but the other episodes were only up online in Japanese at the time! I honestly at this point in my life do not purchase any anime -- I learn about anime series and watch 'em on places like YouTube and MetaCafe =3 Beempa "FRAPS" works WONDERS for AMVs I am learning! ^_^
That's if your hard drive has the ability to manage full quality video capture with FRAPS!]
* Stress Relief = Fun! *
Since I do my AMVs as a hobby as well as for zero profit as do many of us who take the time to edit AMVs for the very fun of -- this was a GREAT stress reliever as next week [as of this writing] starts the FINAL week for classes in the online college Education Major I currently am enrolled in. =)
That in addition with some of the things that have been going on with TIGERM.NET
[bullying, impersonators and stalkers oh my! oh my!] -- I've had my work cut out for me. =)
* College Inspired For A College Student! ^_^ *
One thing I honestly would like to say about this video is that it was inspired -- by me GOING to a college actually and at that time I was enrolled in a Computer Science class. =) I'm still enrolled in college. =) [but different one]
This was with MTC and the Computer Science class was mostly online. However, it was a hybrid class.
I had a really crappy vehicle at the time [of which I am still to this day not ungrateful that I had!] and so in order to travel from Valdosta to MTC-- I decided for the very first time in my life to -- RENT A CAR! XD
* Years of Silence As An Inspiration *
The vehicle that I speak of that I honestly didn't think would make it up the street without trouble -- let alone to another city or town! Actually had no mp3 player, no tape player, no CD player, no radio that worked... nothing. So imagine this... driving around in a vehicle for almost 7 years with no audio while driving. Let's simply just say that I had a LOT of time while driving to think up some really interesting and original songs! XD A bane hiding a blessing and also teaching me to appreciate the day I rented this car:
It Had a CD Player! =D
YAY!
The car that had a CD player inspired me to put together a CD mix on a burnable CD-R
which was something that I had not done for quite some time!
Since I own an mp3 player and had been walking a lot [the vehicle I had did indeed break down... quite a bit... and at the time I could hardly afford any gas so I'd walk to save some cash for eats ^_^] -- music was my driving force. That became LITERAL after renting the "White Knight" of a 300 to take me to MTC and back! I had just enough money to keep the car for one full day -- and welp! =3 This SONG from Robbie-S I had just learned about while listening to the music on the frontpage radio for "trackitdown" [which I actually learned about in the Deadmau5 Song "Ghosts N' Stuff" where the producer rants at the very end! XD lol. It was great~ {3] The following year, I began to wonder what this song would sound like if the audio was muted on the "G" part and instead "Eight" was said -- so 8-6! XD And then...
Two years Back-In-Time: The Inspiration!
To say the least, the Robbie-S song [which is actually a dance-rendition of a popular hip-hop song] lead me to sing and act crazy bouncing happily while driving on the Highway at 70 miles per hour [the speed limit in the area I was in was 55... so I slooowed way da'h funk down after recognizing it! XD] an unforgettable moment to me in that super special day that I got a chance to rent a car! =)
With the music pumping I began to laugh and joke along with the lyrics like people do [sometimes! =D] while driving and started shouting out, "Like An 8-6! Like an 8-6! Now I'm feeling so fly like an 8-6!" And WOW! Little did I know that two years later -- this AMV would be inspired! from that one day in my life! I took that final at MTC over Computer Science the very end of 2010! Winter Quarter. =)
All the colleges in Georgia now though are on the Semester System so it will not happen again--
a quarter at a academic college or technical school in I mean! =3 All colleges are on the semester system now from what I understand -- so I feel blessed to have taken both college and semester systems! =)
Both work for me! ^_^
FINALE!
Please enjoy the AMV and stay completely remarkable and totally amazing! =D
Had SO much fun doing this one that I just wouldn't stop watching it after rendering it! XD
Hope You have as much fun too viewing this one and will stay amazing and take care!
Peace & Love! ^_~*
