  I ended up liking this song a lot though I've never heard it before, and I really enjoyed putting this together. I had my sources picked out beforehand and I was pretty much set on using them unless they turned out to be wildly inappropriate for the song, and luckily they didn't, so here we are!
  
  This video will probably make the most sense if you've seen both sources, or at the very least Angel Beats, as that one had a more complicated story though I tried to get it across as much as I could. Clannad story is easier to follow. It took me a little while to come up with the concept, I think I really started editing this without a clear idea of where I was going, and the theme of the video emerged as the editing progressed. Obviously the stories were there, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to say with them right away. I went though something like 5 titles for this before I settled on this one right about the time when I got to the end and then it seemed like such a perfect and at that point obvious title. The video mainly deals with the idea of dying and moving on. Moving forward to life after, which is where the name "After Life" comes from. The idea of after is often the saddest part, and I felt like it was a theme these two shows shared but illustrated in different ways, so I just did my best to bring them together. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. :)
