Song: Deja Vu - Dionne Warwick
Anime: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Season 2)

    Ah, the nostalgia. ^_^
I used to listen to this song on my dad's [E.Y.N.B.] Vinyl [still have it too! ^_^]

Little did I know that some 20 years later I'd be using it in an AMV
    About well... guess what! 'Deja Vu' and 'Nostalgia.' ^^;

    Isn't 'Fate Funny?" =)

This is the end of my 3-part contribution to the AWESOME Season 2 of
    The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

I still am held in awe at how well episodes 2 through 9 [Infinite 8]
Were placed together and provoked thought on just what 'Deja Vu' is.

This is pretty much a 'continuition' from the AMV for 'Time.'
    [Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkyOLwwgS44]

Trading the slow-easy song [Time] for a smooth-semi-sweet retro favorite [Deja Vu]
there are few changes--but there are differences in the footage and order. =)
    [Do you see 'em ^^]

I used the same footage, only making minor adjustments in length and
'faded-around' with the color and dis-balanced a couple of scenes
attempting to [well doing so ^^;] mimicking the 'Loop-Flow' of time
which 'The Infinite 8' presents in episodes 2 through 9.

Before 'Time' or this AMV for 'Deja Vu,'
I did another called 'Deja Vu Thesis' without any added music--just sound/video edits.

    I'm proud of my AMVs! ^^ =D

A contribution for 'Halloween' yes, and also a thing to remember. =)
[And a lot less bloody than my initial contribution for SAW Here 'SAW Synopsis'
    Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHAVs2tn76M]

Going more for that 'Eerie Dream-feel' instead of a 'Comedic' or 'Cool' 'Lip-Syncing' AMV
[The "Skittles" is still the best to me in that department! XD With the 'Asuka/Engel' a very close runner-up!! ^^]

I thought the music went well with this AMV anime edit since the theme was indeed
'Time' and 'Deja Vu.' ^^ [The titles of both selected songs for both AMVs ^_~]

And if you'll look closely at the 'Opening Graphic' for "Time" and "Deja Vu"
You'll see that for 'Deja Vu' I attempted to cover up "Time" with "Deja Vu"
[After a simple grayscaling to set the mood for that 'as if a past memory...' ^^]

Intentionally, this mimics what Haruhi indirectly did during episodes 2 through 9
[That is, 'Covered up time/relooped time' with 'Deja Vu' albeit unaware of it.]

    So...
    What is Deja Vu?

Ask Emile Boirac! XD (Person who announced the original "Deja Vu Theory" =)
[Got an idea for an original track from watching this anime. Yesss!! ^^
The song is currently in the works and should be done-and-up early 2010. ^^
Got a lot of 'junk' to pile before I can focus on it wholly though!! ^^]

Thanks again for taking the time to watch the AMV [did you O_O;]
And thanks even more for taking the time to read this.

Thanks for taking the time to...

    "Deja Vu..."
