    I felt like Silent Hill was really fitting for the Halloween month, so that's one reason why I chose the Silent Hill series this time around. At it's core, this amv is a tribute to the Silent Hill games, but I also thought each game had one particular theme with many of the characters. All of them have some sort of terrible secret or emotional baggage that they've kept locked away inside them. However, there's also someone reminding them of their secrets. Someone who's words they try to ignore, but are always in the back of their head. Whether it be Maria's presence reminding James of his dead wife or Vincent's cryptic advice reminding Heather of her dark side, that theme is always present to me. That's why when I heard the "Drumming Song" by Florence and the Machine, I knew it would fit. The drums are so intense and her voice gets so emotional near the half-way point it's haunting.
