March of '09 I had bought Kariudo's old computer (which was much better than my old one) as soon as I put it together the first thing I wanted to do was try to edit. I had thought about using this song with ouran for awhile so I just threw in some (type of footage which is not allowed on the org) I had sitting on my computer to play around with. I was amazed at the fact that on this computer I could actually edit, I didn't have to render every 10 seconds of editing to check the cuts or try and use the peeks in the wave form, I could actually edit in the preview window. Well 'playing around' turned into about 40 hours of working on this video and at the end of an editing frenzy of doing nothing but sleeping, going to work and editing I had a video that I could do nothing with since the quality was crappy.
I had decided to shelve the video and use what was left of my editing energy on something I could actually release. A year later I found the video and project files sitting in a folder and rewatched it, despite it's less than stellar quality I actually really liked the video and decided screw the quality whores I'm finishing this, and so I did, keeping with my tradition of releasing a video on my birthday. (Editing gives me something better to do other than get emo over getting older)
Second place for best upbeat in Anime Mid Atlantic (Which is the coordinators nicer way of telling me I lost =p)
