Short version: this is a video composed with a mechanical assist in order to test that assist process as well as the theory of perceptive closure. If you can articulate a meaning and flow that there is to the video, it worked.
Shin Hats self-grade: A-. In my view, this came off as a success, and even discarding the experimental-psychology parts, it works, at least for me, just on the reassembly level.

About the music: Behold...the Arctopus is an experimental tech-metal/noise-rock band from New York. They record on Metal Blade, and play mostly in small clubs to sparse concentrations of rabid followers in the tiny intersection between "likes unlistenably complex math-rock" and "likes skullcrushingly heavy death metal". The intro is a sample from "Let You Fall" by Dysrhythmia off their No Interference record. Colin Marston, who plays Warr guitar and occasionally bass in Arctopus, now plays bass for Dysrhythmia as well, but did not when that recording was made.
