I've watched a lot of AMVs over the years - some have been stunning, some have been hilarious, and others have been utter dross. Feeling a little self-conscious about being judgemental, though, I decided to put my money where my mouth is and have a crack at one myself.
The Golgo 13 manga is a veritable industry in itself - the legendary assassin's adventures have been in continuous publication for forty years and have had all manner of spin-offs from merchandising to live-action films - and, inevitably, anime. Takao Saito laid the groundwork for Golgo 13 when he was adapting James Bond 007 novels into mangas, and so I felt that an appropriate homage would be found in a classic Bond theme.
