  • Comments: The goal of this video is to demonstrate how FLCL is really a coming of age story, and the violence is a metaphor for the chaos that puberty causes. The "sex" of the video comes into play as we see the link between Naota becoming aware of girls (but still confused as to how he should feel), and this in turn causes his life to become chaos and confusion.

    If that isn't an appropriate metaphor for puberty, I don't know what is. =)
