• Comments: This is a remake of my 2005 amv "When You're Near".
  
  It follows the same theme as the original, but as with my other remakes this amv has better sound and much better video quality compared to my 2005 version and other amvs before I switched to APE3.
  
  One thing you might notice is that there doesn't seem to be any sync with the beat? This was done on purpose. I made this amv almost identical to the original, making most of the video sync with the lyrics while the rest of the video was synced with the choruses (though lyric sync occurs during the choruses). I paid close attention to the choruses, especially the parts leading up to them (those were key elements for me). However, some might think 'he didn't sync anything anywhere, etc, etc.' and that's just it. My creativity and my feelings as I made this video were the suggestive powers I used to decide where to sync and where not to. I feel it was right to make this video sync up with the lyrics more than with the beat.
  
  Also, about half the scenes in this video were replaced with different scenes when compared to the original, and I feel this amv focuses more on what I was trying to express than the original (which feels and looks like its trying to cover more ground than necessary).
