• Comments: My second AMV, this one premiered at Yaoicon 2007 and took Best Drama. Which. Kind of took me by surprise, because I never heard back from the people running the contest and had assumed it wasn't getting in until I sat down to watch the amvs and... there it was. Listed on the program. ^^
  
  Anyway, this was motivated mostly by two things. The first is that this movie has a great, gaping lack of any fandom, and I thought it needed some love. The second was that, right as I was deciding this, a song with lyrics that were just perfect presented itself.
  
  So I dug out Windows Movie Maker, and fought with it nonstop for the next week as it crashed every five minutes or so. Eventually, I ended up splitting the whole thing into three and working on it in bits because the program seemed to manage the smaller clip sizes a bit better. Then when it was all done, I paid very close attention to the music timing and spliced it back together.
  
  I guess overall I'm pretty happy with it. There are some spots that are rough, and I wish I'd used a different program and possibly some different footage in places, but it is what it is.
