Comments: I really love the film Donnie Darko and in particular the cover version of 'Mad World' by Tears For Fears by Gary Jules that is used in the film to great effect.
I wanted to do something with the song and after a quick look through some avi's I had the Domo-kun series leapt out at me as being perfect. (Domo is a mascot of NHK's BS2 Satellite Channel)
I have the vids only at 320x240 so I kept the resolution and I've used realplayer to keep the filesize small because my avi compression techniques are not very good yet. (Edit: now there's an 8 MB avi version too)
There are parts where there is little bit of lip synching but that wasn't really a priority, it's more an attempt to fit to the mood of the song.
