    FMP: TSR.
A look at Sousuke in my fave of the FMP series'.

Right, so this is mostly a character profile/study of Sgt. Sagara Sousuke. There is some action, mostly in the beginning of the vid. Angst in many parts. Other characters show up a little, only in reference to Sousuke though, but I'll detail that in a bit.

Clips from every episode of the series is used ... I'm fairly certain anyway. Maybe not the second episode. Suffice to say, it basically is the whole series.

In the making, I did have a few issues with quality. This was the first vid where I had distinct quality problems. I fixed that as best I could. For the size, the quality is so much better than the first file. Video editing software is not my top priority though, so forgive me if it's still not as good as it could be. On saying that though, the quality isn't terrible ... it's entirely possible I'm being an annoying nitpicker.
Other things ... lyrics and clips link ... possibly less so in the first arc, but it still works. Rhythm and timing is good ... I do work with some off-beats though, so to other ears it might seem a little off. No lip-synching or real digital effects. Kinda simplistic, but fun.

I wanted to have distinct arcs to the vid. First is the "overture" lasting about 30-40 sec giving a distinctly dark feel for the whole vid. This tone leads into the first arc: "the fight scene". Hints of introspection and angst lead into the second arc: "social awkwardness". This is more of the character study which then moves onto the third arc: "the bloody climax". The third arc is where most of the spoilerific warnings come into play. For the end we sort of have the "intospective realisation coda" lasting about 20-30 sec.
So yes, I did name the parts of the structure as they were important for the 'storyline' of the vid. I put a lot of thought into the planning of this. The song is intentional and adds so much more to the whole piece. The lyrics do fit, especially for a character like Sousuke. Feel free to disagree if you want, but listening to "Sober" incites the same sort of feeling in me that the first watching of TSR did.
I hope I managed to create that same sort of feeling for others with this AMV.
