- Comments: A good friend introduced me to this band and song. Roy Khan is an amazing vocalist and this is a sad but beautiful song. In Elfen Lied, the main character, Lucy, has many secrets from her past. That is the angle I used in this amv. I wanted to show the suffering she went through because of the secrets. To do this, I found it necessary to show some of the violence from her past, but I used a monochrome effect for many of the flashback scenes. Due to the nature of the song, I wanted to understate the gore. Using black and white also gave more of a flashback feel to the things she sees from her childhood. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
