While listening to this song by a great group of musicians by the name of Rasputina, I instantly thought of the heroine in Perfect Blue to "Ophelia".
It begins with a look at before Mima left behind the safety of her pop idol status for more gritty roles in acting. Slowly, her mental state begins to deteriorate, until all the images of her past and (actual?) future spins out of control before her eyes.
