You know, with as many creators out there as there are, I knew this was bound to happen. I've been thinking about this video for a while, and I finally got around to making it. I had it finished, and was ready to send it to Katsucon 12, when I happened to see EPYC (found here - http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=93047 )
Danged if there wasn't already a segment that took on the same idea, but I got in touch with Jasper-Isis and krzT321, and showed them this, and they couldn't have been nicer - they said go ahead and send it off to Katsu...
Oh, wait, you want to know the concept, not the history - OK, here goes.
If you've seen the episode of Love Hina with Moe, the puppet, you know the premise of the video. I didn't do much to modify the story; instead, I focused on timing. I've always loved the soundtrack for Amelie, and in particular, the song La Redecouverte (translated, it means "The Rediscovery" - pretty fitting). The song sounds like a music box, and Moe is a sort of toy...
Anyway, I don't want to give too much away. It's short, it's touching, it's a smallish file, so download and enjoy.
