- Profile: I go by the pen name of Okawa Seishou (aka seishou13 or os13) am 35+, and have done a little of a lot of things. You know a "Jack of all Trades, Master of None".
Ex-military (first gulf war) and work in the medical field repairing equipment.
Gone to college for animation and art, now just doing things because.
The first AMV I ever saw was at a Trek convention in Denver back in '91 done to Metallica's "Dyers Eve". Sense then I have wanted to make one but...maybe later.
I built the PC I use (AMD Athlon 64x2 5000+, 2GB RAM, NVIDIA 512MB GeForce 8600 GT, 960GB total HDD space), with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. I did use one dual deck with another VCR with the edit function to make my first AMV (but it is lost and I haven't made another until Song for the Asking for A-Kon 19.
Now I would really appreciate opinions on my AMVs. I am not much of a blogger by nature but I will try and respond to every opinion I recieve. Being a Ghibli fan and lover of old animation and Sci-Fi most of my stuff will probably center around them.
I have used, know or have the following:
Adobe PhotoShop CS3, Corel Paint Shop
Premiere Pro CS3, Windows Movie Maker 2.0
Adobe Audition 3.0, Audacity 1.3, Adobe Soundbooth CS3
LightWave 9
