We here at Magic Slicer Productions are a team of two sisters and one tecchie person, and we started out a very long time ago when the first idea for an AMV was seriously discussed. We take our name from some very badly misheard lyrics (courtesy of Youko Koryuu), and we almost didn't make it into production for several reasons. The first was that Youko didn't want to share her anime footage. Although we're usually the best of pals, when it comes to her precious anime, she trusts me just about as far as she can fling me, which would be further if both of us exercised more. However, mine was the computer with the technical capability to produce AMVs, so we reached a truce and were officially a team.
We stalled out there, since my computer (though sufficiently new and shiny) did not have the required programs, and we were very poor and could not afford them. This remained the situation for a couple of years, until we solicited the services of our friend Safiel Wedge, who had not only a shinier computer, but every video-making program known to mankind. Once we began our first video, we were done within a cumulative week, and very pleased with our results.
We intend to continue making AMVs, and have an extensive list of ideas we'd like to see consummated. Let us know what you think (Opinions are nice, though Quick Comments will do), and remember to send extra thanks to Safiel Wedge -- without his help, Youko and I would never have gotten off the ground.
