- Profile: I'm a junior getting a Computer Graphics Technology major with a minor in Entomology at Purdue University. Video editing is pretty fun, I did a bit of it at an internship at a television station last year when I wasn't producing their news graphics.
I've finally figured out how to crop in Adobe After Effects without using masks, so now I can crop subtitles without any difficulty. I tend to jump between After Effects and Windows Movie Maker since After Effects can do profession-quality effects (along with Premier) and Windows Movie Maker can compress the hell out of anything and still keep it looking good. I don't care that it's Windows, it compressed my second AMV from an After Effects-rendered 1.55 gigabytes to a cool 16.6 megs without any real loss of video quality.
I guess you could call me "Jagged Production" Studio since that's what I called myself in my first AMV (which sucks and will not be posted here). ^_^ Go Boilermakers!
