  • Profile: Hi, my name's Alyssa, also know as Kairi (and a million other names I won't put down here). I'm a decently average teenage girl; well...maybe not so much, but lifestyle wise...sorta. I go to and loath school, hang with friends, live in a semi pretty blue house (if it got a new paint job that is), I have a family, and........well, I breathe. I really suck at profiles, but that's okay. Um, let's see......I like to read (especially manga, but certainly not limited to), write (stories/poetry/songs), draw, sing (when I'm all alone and no one can hear me....*glances around suspiciously before continuing*), watch tv/movies/ and a whole lot of anime, and listen to music.

    I love rain and will walk 15-20 minutes home from school even on day it's pouring, just to have an excuse to be in it. I once played basketball in the hoop in my driveway for a 45-60 minutes in the rain before heading inside. After that I got a bad cold though, and I haven't really done so since. In general I don' t really care for sports, with an occasional exception.

    I pretty much live in my room in the basement. Hell, my parents even call it my dungeon. It's not like there's really anything to do upstairs with everyone else though and my family sucks most of the time.....so, um....there. I like to ramble (if you can tell) and I love to just mess around and have fun with friends. Being sane, normal, and smart aren't exactly things high on my agenda when I'm with my friends. I am reasonably intellegent though. I can count to ten (on my good days....otherwise I stop at 2 or 3; heh, when I'm out of it, I'm out of it), tie my shoes, recite the alphabet, and I know how to work my computer (obviously).

    When I was little, like somewhere between 5 and 7, my greatgrandmother found me oh so useful to her. She'd come up to me and say "Oh Alyssa, it's horrible! I just can't get my computer to work! Can you please help me?" Mind you, all she did on the thing was play solitare and I highly doubt she even knows what 'internet' is. So, I'd walk up to her computer, look at it for a moment, and then push the big 'on' button. Sad huh? You think that could make me a hero? To her it did, which is even sadder. She'd smile and say, "Oh thank you so much, you're my hero! (I'm being dead serious here by the way.) Now I can play solitare when I can't sleep!" Thankfully, she hasn't needed me in a couple of years, which leads me to believe that she has discovered that the on button actually turns on the computer and the manufacturer didn't just put it there for kicks.

    Oops, I guess I'm getting a bit sidetracked though, which I seem to do a lot. Anyway, the point I was trying to make before my little radom story is that sanity, being normal, and intellegence aren' t quite as fun as being insane, weird, and just plain stupid. Hey, you gotta have fun sometimes, right?

    I love the evening and I stay up late every night. In truth, I much prefer the night to the day; if only the world would run by the dark instead of the light. In truth, I really don't care too much for the sun. It's way too hot, way too bright, it burns me, and it is annoying to me in a million other ways. I also believe that the moon is much more beautiful than the sun, and the stars give the off a special feeling that the sun never could. I guess the only exception there is to my dislike of the sun is sunrise and set, but I hardly think that that counts. I find sunrises and sets to be absolutely incredable. I really could not describe my favor for it in words. I love how the rising sun lights up the sky in the most perfect way, and the way the sight of it makes me feel so warm and happy, as if it is actually me glowing and not the morning or early evening sky.

    I also love fire. The feel, the smell, and the sight of it I truly admire. Fall is my favorite season. The cool, cripness of the air feels so good. The scent of autum is amazing. Then there's the leaves, the beautiful, multicolored leaves that glow if the sun shines on them just right. I also like putting a whole bunch of period dots in all my emails and changing all my fonts and colors over and over. I enjoy spending hours going through google just to find pictures and save them (I am quite the loser, aren't I?). My favorite colors are crimson/blood red (so pretty *sigh*), black, and midnight blue...in that order.

    I guess I'm really starting to ramble though. Oi, sorry. Like I said though, I'm not very good at these things. Of course, I doubt that anyone will actually read my apology because after the first or second paragraph (assuming anyone actually reads this at all) I'm guessing you'll say "Well f*** this, I've got much better things to do." Anyway, anyone who does actually read this far....I kinda pity you. Oh well. But anyway, thanks for taking the time to look at this and if you don't, I completely understand. I'll stop saying random weird stuff now and be quiet. 0.-
