[average 119.3 of 231994 opinions; standard deviation 432 ] - Profile: Name's Brad. I started making short movies a few years back. (I'm only 17, so I haven't been at it too long.) I had never made an AMV before, but I caught myself putting a lot of video/music montages in my movies. So, a friend of mine who is a deadpan Otaku asked me to make an AMV of my choosing and he would enter into a contest for us. I didn't think I'd win so I agreed. I loved Trigun and owned it on DVD so I decided to use it, being that the animation and scene structure is so great in the show, it wouldn't be too hard to do for a first-timer. I am going to say that I am a Free Christian, living a life with God. I'm glad of that for many reasons (Ask me sometime, if you care; sneakyninja3 on AIM) . Anyways, I lwas trying to pick a good song, I didn't want to do Linkin Park simply because something like 75% of the AMVs I had seen used them. I wanted something poetic. I tapped my collection of Christian music, and found my boy Kevin Max. Pick up his Stereotype Be album even if you don't like Christian music. (I don't like most of it.) There was this song on there, "Dead End Moon" it fits Trigun perfectly in my opinion. I wish I was better at editing when I made this video because I don't feel like I did it justice. So, anyways I entered the video in the contest expecting to lose, and guess what happened.....I didn't even place in the top 20. Haha, I don't care I make these things for fun.
Sorry, I ahould have put that i nthe video description, but I don't have any other videos to talk about yet. I've got a couple of projects I'm working on at the moment. Look for them in the future;
Gundam Wing - Hero/Breaking the Habit
Evangelion - (narrowing down the song from a short list)
Peace out AMVers.
