I like to hear good things about my AMVs, but I don't expect them to be the best out there. Some people do crazy stuff with the editing, that I still haven't begun to comprehend how. I'm still learning new methods though with new video editing programs. As long as I enjoy making AMVs, I'll keep making them. I still got plenty of ideas in hand, and plenty of animes to explore for possible AMVs.
Making AMVs isn't my first experience with video editing however. A while ago, my friends and I used to make alot of live action videos together. Some spoofs of commercials and such, some lip sync music videos, and even a short mystery movie which I wrote and directed. My friends kinda lost interest though, I was left not able to make live action anymore cause I had no actors to play parts. So I switched to AMVs, cause I still enjoy the editing, and have been a fan of anime since I saw my first episode of dragonball z, and the movie Akira.
One problem I have with posting my videos on here is my work may be compared to alot of other AMVs on here, of perhaps higher quality, and presentation. I don't wish my videos to be compared to anyone elses' really. Everything I make comes from the heart, and I put my mind into it. I watch AMVS on here, but I don't want to emulate anyone. I like to do variety as well. One of my videos may be very light hearted, and sweet. Another may be very rougish, and dark, or maybe just very action packed. Or one day, I might just loss my mind, and make something very silly. lol Anyway I hope you enjoy my videos, and if you enjoy one even slightly, please leave an opinion so I know.
