JOURNAL: striderlee

  • Like Golden Boy, I continue my studies and bring some news. 2006-08-21 22:56:27 Hello party people, another long period of time has past since my April journal entry last year, and my training with the digital arts and media continue with explorations into the world of 3d studio max as well as Maya, and Adobe After Effects etc. After seeing so many other explosive music videos since my debut, it added to my motivation to pursue my personal studies to become better at compiling a good video together and improve in other areas of my workflow. At the moment no amv in development till 2007, the reason being, is that I've been working on the 2006 Nekocon Bumpers *Intro Animations for their AMV categories. I usually handle the animation for the Romance Bumper and edit all of Blaquefeather Media's intro videos with the sound. The new BFM website is updated and running featuring some of my fan art of Naruto, Capcom/SNK characters, a few Anime characters, and one 3d piece. Currently, I'm trying to create more artwork for the gallery but taking time out to help put together the final compilation of videos for the Nekocon staff by October. *BUzzsY! But I've made it a goal to make sure to bring to you a really good amv by next year. I'm aiming to atleast start planning it out and put a bit of it together after I'm done with the Nekocon AMV Intros. The last few animes I checked out so far has been The Karas, Ergo Proxy, Karou Marou, and of course the Zeta Gundam movies 1 and 2. So I may include one of these in my line up for amv creation. Till next year everyone...keep making good amv's! *poof!!! Strider Lee out-
  • Long Forgotten 2005-04-17 13:32:28 Hello amv org,
Geez talk about time away from the site about 2 years and just now trying to post a video I completed a long time ago. *Airmaster Cool J* Somewhere down the road to posting the video never happend. Until now, I thought about an amv that my friend Riddla showed me awhile back by Majin Kenshin *Naruto and Linkin Park and another amv that someone did with Noir Die Another Day. Yesterday and today are my most recent visits to the site and finally posted this ancient amv I put together in 2003. Well hopefully it can still be posted* I 've been really busy but managing time to check out what I've been missing on this awesome site. Speaking of site the Blaquefeather Media.com website is finally up and running after a long 5 year wait but still needs some more art work postings from myself and the rest of the group. Anyway back on the subject of the amv that I made for the org as debut video, it was done using one of my favorite old school rap artist LL Cool J "Moma Said Knock you out," and last year's action anime series about a tall female gymnastic streetfighter name Maki *Air Master. I mostly stuck with cuts and syncs to the beat which is the way I mostly like to edit my amvs. As I read in the forum section "What impresses you about an amv?" the flow and editing of the video really impresses most fans. Some said emotion and others mentioned storytelling etc. Which I've taken into consideration for my next few amvs that I have started but need to finish them. Using my favorite animes like Naruto, Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny...yes I'm a gundam fanatic but I like older and comical types of anime such as Love Hina , Trigun, and Full Metal Panic fumoffu. Currently my project progress on amvs is on hold until I've finished animating intros for Nekocon 6's amv contest which should be complete in 2 months from now. But the amvs that I have worked are half completed and leaves me only a little bit more to go when I get back on the amv scene. One of them I did a test with Air Master and Gundam Seed to a Mudvane track. That's going to be my favorite project for this year so far...well enough said from this long forgotten member , so please when you get a chance check out my ol'a$$ amv and I will make sure I donate asap! ninjitsu vanish*POOF!!!
  • My debut as an AMV creator and Artist 2003-07-31 23:01:28 To those already in the industry I want to congratulate and give thanks to you for your hard efforts to bring these videos to the fans of anime and new comers being drawn into the world of Animation. Please continue to put forth nothing but the best of your creation and strive for creativity. Nevertheless, have fun creating them too. I know I will when I create my amv's; which brings me to the point that i will debut a few of my amv's to the AMV.org scene soon. For those of you that may have downloaded my GUNDAM SEED / SCRYED video with RUN DMC thank you for your time and expect more from me and my compadres at BLAQUEFEATHER MEDIA! I will debut more amv's at this years NEKOCON convention in Virginia Bch, Virginia Holiday Inn Executive Center which I hope to target new people. If you catch me there feel free to say hello to me and the CYPHER (*The sword STRIDER HIRYU uses to slay his foes with the quickness in the Genesis, PS1, and Arcade games by Capcom) messing with you lol. Also you will probably catch me at OTACON (August 8th-9th) this year but thats a 50/50 chance of me attending because of my lack of vacation hours from work. Only time will tell, inbetween that time frame I will continue to work on more amv's and animations to demo at the convention as well as to put on Blaquefeather Media's new website. For those of you that may have been to Newgrounds.com I'm one of the artist that worked on the storyboard and backgrounds for the Riddla commercial and work closely with my friend Vermspiracy who did the Baghead Vigilante flash Animation but hey that's just to share alitlle background info on myself and the team i work with. Later people *Like Strider teleports out of the scene! Be on the Lookout for my first amv: Airmaster Cool J!
