Furry convention? *shudders* e___e ik how that feels.
Couple months back this guy hacked my youtube, deviantart, and a lot of other sites and kept saying/promoting the idea that i was a furry.
I want NOTHING to do with them lol I'm fine with the people, but the actual hobby/fetish/etc is just NOT in my interest at all.

editing programs

Heres a list of wut i personally use for editing and why i like them.
Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro
It has all the features of normal vegas + masking + good effects and if you know how to combine them well you can make pretty decent amvs.
After Effects CS3
This is after effects. Not much to say if you already know wut ae is. lol
Photoshop Cs4
Simple frame editing, image manipulation and you can import avi files as video.
Programs i cant stand:
Final Cut Pro
Whoever uses this...i feel sorry for you. The interface is horrible...the effects are mild and not even as good or as easily controlled as vegas and not only that but the transitions are bland as feck.
Adobe Premiere
I understand the reason one would use premiere. However i dont enjoy the interface(although its not as bad as FCP). The main problem i have with premiere is that you have to use tools. Id much rather just hit "s" and split my clip then find the splitting tool or w/e.

I think Code is officially my favorite critic.
The thing i enjoy about him is not that his main goal is to explain whats wrong with my video, but rather that he is merely explaining how i can do better. He has a jolly tone to his critiques and he shows he means business but he's not bashing my video, and is instead only giving his opinion.
