JOURNAL: TritioAFB (Lenin Meza)

  • New AMV is done // Watanuki Fest and Tritio is not done :/ 2012-03-28 01:37:18 Since I'm currently selecting the contests I'll submit, There are the first 2 contests I ever finished as runner up. So they are getting an entry for me.
To make the surprise more interesting this AMV will remain as Underground until the time to reveal its name comes. So I'll only mention it for now. There will be 2 alternatives name for the same AMV, as what I did with Pletora
Now the question I make myself, is: Why I didn't think of making this amv before? Never felt so positive about a song, until this video.

Since I want to get involved the ZA members into the AMV-making, it will be only betatested for them.

    Passing to the other note:

The Watanuki Fest will be held this next Sunday. I really wanted to count with foreign editors just to make the contest funnier, but the organizers wants to keep the contest only for the local editors.

And I still have to bring the poster and the credits :/

    AMV, serious business :l
  • News 2012-03-24 13:09:14 Talking with Radical_Yue a few days ago, a new AMV Contest is coming this next April 1. But there was a problem: A certain rule of them states that the only music allowed for the contest is the Japanese music, like J-pop.

So after a meeting, I convinced them to change the rule, because you all know, the soul of a contest is the diversity, so restriction to music is something that shouldn't exist in this times.

Funny part is that they were restricting the music because they don't want to get english nor spanish music in the contest.

Seems those organizers really want me after the last AMV Panel I made in a past fest. I requested another thing:

Giant Screens for the AMV Contest, so we are going to broadcast the AMVs at 1080p.

And they did it. I came watching and testing the screens and everything is ready for the AMV Contest. With me, Megamom and Dn@ videos are coming to this fest for the AMV Panel.

I'll start also bringing to the Panel, more amvs from the org, so in the future also Shin, Ileia, drewaconclusion, AimoAio, [madaraxD], and many more editors will be featured in the future anime fests. I have to think now about the possibility to put a livestream too once the Panel starts, followed by the AMV Contest

The idea of AMV Panel seems to be attractive for the newbies since in the last Con, people were asking me about those AMV Makers from the org ;)
  • The Conception of the Medical Doctor: Myths and Truth 2012-03-22 00:56:53 In the past the Medical Doctor was an authority respected in the community, but in this last years that conception is going down. Now the respect must be won, with the outcoming of Internet, now all the info is in your hands.
Problems comes when people don't realize that at certain cases it's impossible to bring medicines that are still in studies. Or that they "order" the doctor to do some process "dangerous" for the patient.

50% of the medical info in internet is fake, unless the site you searched is clearly certificated, PubMed for example is a site I highly recommend for searching that kind of info.

I'll be honest with you (In case you're a student that plans to study Medicine): The Medical Doctor is an appasionated of Studying. Not meaning must be a Nerd, but someone that trully knows how to mix the free time with the studying in a balanced way. Even graduated, We're all obligated to continue studying always.

    Now some Truths and Myths:

-We're also people, so this is not like we're gonna be just working in an hospital all the day.

-Said that, we also have a life, so you may see us probably drinking, probably doing exercise, or doing a hobby, as I do with the AMVs. No matter the time, as long as we have the will to do something, we'll always do it, no matter what.

-There are several kinds of doctors. But we all share the same conception of the Medicine so it's not like because I don't look kids I'm not gonna know about them.

-The Medical Student never parties: that's not truth. At my case I myself organized one into the Campus for the Medical Doctor's Day.

-It's useless to go to the Doctor because I don't need it: This is probably the reason why we are always trained for the troublesome situations. Did you know that several cases of cancer are detected just in an ordinary check? When we originally never expected to find them?

-The Women goes more often than the Men to the hospital: True. Also, the Women is more brave than the Men in terms of Medical Process. There was a guy I even didn't touch him and he was already crying :O

-Generally the Men goes when he's into an advanced case of the disease or when he feels like dying. Otherwise, he's the first to oppose going to the doctor.

    And..........

I dunno how much is to go to the Doctor out there, but at my case you just have to pay the equivalent of $75, with the Medicines included, and with additional exams $100.

The people here at some times can't pay that amount so instead they bring me Presents. Interesting life we have the Doctors don't we?
  • Plans: Houston II again? 2012-03-20 11:04:25 Yesterday I've been told that there's a plan that I should stay in Houston during April, but haven't been asked. The problem is that with me I'll have to take my little brother with me, so that's the reason they want me to go.

But here comes a problem: The hospital has stated that wants all its men before May, so the idea of visiting again Houston is currently an intention, rather than a reality.

Need to get a new harddrive: My current harddrive is almost filled and need a new one ASAP.

xDreww, Shin and Turner should be getting ready cause it's currently in process a new amv. But I'll like to read xDreww since he's a hardcore fan of the serie I'm using >:D
  • Betatesting with several editors.... 2012-03-17 14:07:44 Sometimes is useful, sometimes gives you a chance to meet new editors. As I never imagine myself meeting rdc thanks to the help of VovanKoperativ. Even enter into the amvnews chat room was unexpected. Which reminds me that I have never entered before into the org chat room :O

But it's true that every country has its style. I can't please everybody but the feedback is always useful, specially when I have the obligation to learn this next week with AE how to use new effects that are thought for "Let me Know"

Hoping to be ready for A-Kon, animeNEXT and the rest of Cons for the next month, it was a surprise last year, and I'm hoping to return this year :3
