Here's a comment I saw on youtube:
gah editors on the org. . . . they are like modern artists who can LOVE a pile of dirt but then not understand a painting of a bridge. >_> (continues for forever to avoid that place)
I consider myself quite inbetween this whole org-youtube debate, as I spend equal time and equally adore both for different reasons, but I don't understand why some people on the org say "we need to be more accepting of youtube, for balabalhlblahbl. Stop judging them." or whatever the hell, something along those lines.
Obviously primarily youtube-editors still hate people on the org, even though a lot of people on the org went under a huge change of "accepting" youtube and its editors.
This editor (I won't mention the name, but I know a few people on the org might know since they flow through some of the same circles I do) does make a slightly true point, and they are a decent editor, but I swear... something about this generalization just irks me. I think it's because I don't like being called a modern artist! LOL, just kidding (a bit.) Still, pissed me off a bit. I can't stand people who generalize and form opinions off very little experience and/or knowledge. -
